Running on Empties Bottle Collection Campaign at Dymon this Saturday!

Dymon helps out Running on EmptiesCampaign

Conrad Switzer, Manager at Dymon’s Walkley Rd facility is back with today’s blog post.

Hello everyone! I am pleased to announce that this year, Dymon is involved in the 25th annual “Running on Empties” bottle drive that happens every year in Ottawa! This Saturday December 15th, all six of our Dymon Self Storage locations  will be collecting empty bottles. At the end of the day, we will be dropping off the bottles at The Beer Store. If you can’t make it to one of locations, you can also drop off empty bottles at the Beer Store. All the proceeds from this event will be donated to the Christmas Exchange Program, which is a subsidiary of the Caring and Sharing Exchange Program. If you would like to learn more about the program check out http://www.caringandsharing.ca/!

I would like to thank Mike McMullen, our assistant manager at our Prince of Wales location, for working with the organizers to get Dymon Self Storage  involved this year.  Not only did he organize Dymon’s involvement, but at the end of Saturday he will be driving to our six locations to pick up all the bottles to bring them to The Beer Store! Mike is just another great example of how the staff here at Dymon Self Storage like to get involved and give back to the Ottawa community. The staff and owners of the company are proud of him, and we’re all thankful to have another community-oriented individual as a part of our great team! Thanks for reading, Happy Holidays everyone!
