Dymon Self Storage  is very passionate about supporting local and national charities from our Soles4Souls campaign, the Manotick Road Race , to the Ottawa Food Bank  food drives to helping local organizations with storage solutions. One of the Ottawa organizations that Dymon Self Storage is proud to work with is the Children’s Hospital of Eastern Ontario (better known as CHEO). CHEO  is a pediatric health and research center providing patient and family care, break-through research and training to health care providers in the Ottawa area. CHEO is located in Eastern Ottawa, but has a large service area including Eastern Ontario, Western Quebec, Nunavut and part of Northern Ontario. The hospital has been in service for 38 years providing services for newborns up to eighteen year olds.

The CHEO Foundation  is the charitable organization for the CHEO hospital. The group has many fundraising events supporting the hospital throughout the year. Since, 2009, Dymon Self Storage has been able to help the CHEO Foundation with storage solutions for equipment for their special events. The help that Dymon Self Storage gives to the CHEO Foundation indirectly helps the patients and families at the hospital by saving the Foundation thousands of dollars a year in storage fees. Dymon Self Storage’s staff always goes “above & beyond” with offering the use of moving trucks to deliver the equipment to the events to offering larger storage units if they are needed.

In January 2012, Dymon Self Storage was inducted into “The Order of the Good Bear”, which is a tribute to community members who are making a difference in the lives of CHEO patients by volunteer or fundraising initiatives. The 2012 class of inductees included local businesses such as Ottawa Bagel Shop to teachers to current CHEO families.  Dymon Storage was represented by Jonathan Dicker, Senior Manager, Andrew Sayer, General Manager, Stephen Creighton, Senior Vice President and Matt Emonts, Business Development.  Dymon Self Storage is proud to be receiving this tribute from the CHEO Foundation and hopes that the partnership with CHEO continues far into the future.
